Happy Hearts in Sky Ranch, Tagaytay

Beautiful Taal Volcano, kinabog ang beauty ko. Char hahahah

Happy Valentine's Day, loves!

It's been years since Justin, my hubby and I enjoyed the ambiance of an amusement park, so, we decided to celebrate Valentine's Day in today's one of the most popular amusement park in the Philippines, the Sky Ranch in Tagaytay.

This year's Valentine's is a Sunday, so before starting our travel, we attended a Sunday mass first in a church in Quezon City. After that, we took our brunch in Jollibee and bought our "baon" for our mini trip to Tagaytay.

To reach the place, we rode a bus in a bus terminal near MRT Taft Station in Pasay. Ride a bus with a destination to Tagaytay-Olivarez. Our travel fare is only PHP86.00 per person. Following the other blogs that I've read about SkyRanch, we told the conductor to drop us at Olivarez Terminal. The conductor asked us where are we going in Tagaytay and we said, "sa Sky Ranch po," He told us that Olivarez Terminal is not our drop off point, instead he'll just drop us to an area where tricycles are waiting for passengers going to Sky Ranch. So, we just followed what the conductor says. If I still remember, he dropped us in Maharlika.

On the other hand, Olivarez Terminal is the drop off point for people who are visiting People's Park in the Sky and Picnic Grove. Again, this is not the drop off point if you're going to Sky Ranch, as the conductor says. As we passed by the terminal, lots of people are waiting for their jeepneys since it's VDay.

When the conductor dropped us in Maharlika, a tricycle driver offered us a ride for PHP20 per person. I think it's just a 5-minute ride to Sky Ranch. Once you see the famous Sky Eye, it just means that you're almost there.
Behind the wonderful Sky Eye, the tallest ferris wheel in Ph!
What to pay?
Entrance fee:   PHP50 for WEEKDAYS (Monday to Friday)
PHP80 for WEEKENDS (Saturday and Sunday)
Rides/Tickets: PHP150 for Sky Eye
                        PHP100 for other adult rides
                        PHP50 for kiddie rides

For our Valentine's date, we just rode the famous Sky Eye which is believed to be the tallest ferris wheel in the Philippines, since we are craving for that kind of experience. We usually rode a mini ferris wheel in Riverbanks, Marikina kaya para maiba naman, tinaasan naman ang challenge for ourselves hehehe.
Sky Eye!

Riding a gondola in the famous Sky Eye is an awesome experience. The sunset that we caught at the top of the ferris wheel added a romantic drama to our Valentine's experience. Awwww, kinikilig ako. Charot :D

THE MINI STORY OF US
Buying tickets for that Sky Eye ride is time consuming since you need to fall in line in a very very very long queue. Well, what do I expect? It's Vday, Aey! Hahaha. So, here's our mini story:

Since it's a long queue, my hubby and I just keeps on chitchatting, observing, etc. While he is looking at each gondolas, he told me, "Ma, lagi kong nakikita yung number 17 na yun..." He is talking about the gondola #17. He then says na, maybe it will be the gondola that we will be riding. I just listen to what he say and it seems like I don't care hahaha. I mean, that would be so impossible since there are a lot of gondolas.

When we are almost in front, I told him that it's impossible that we can ride that Gondola #17. I mean, weh? Parang malabo.... diba?... but wait, when we reach the entrance to ride a gondola, it amazed because IT IS THE GONDOLA #17 that we are riding. My hubby feels so cool about his hunch hahhaha. He even took a video of it while I just feel so WOW!

Pasalubong! 3 for PHP100 only.

Top of Sky Eye! Amazing!

Inside the Gondola#17 :3 Ang hinulaang Gondola hahah

Huwag nyo hayaang mamatay ang apoy sa puso nyo. Meganoin? Happy Vday!
